Every company using electricity (the vast majority of businesses in the UK) should regularly have an Electrical Inspection Condition Report (EICR). This testing process is voluntary, except for residential landlords, in which case the test is a legal requirement.
EICR certificate London: electrical installations
An electrical installation is an item which is connected to the electricity meter. The test will look at the fuse box or distribution boards. Here you’ll find fuses circuit breakers. There may even be residual current devices (RCDs). Another area to check is the cables in the walls and ceilings and light fittings, switches and sockets.

EICR certificate London: PAT testing
At Compliance Electrical, we also carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT). This involves checking individual appliances in your business or home, such as hoovers, kettles and mixers, and larger items, such as dishwashers and freezers.
